food: gluten-free home-made crackers

These crackers are simple to make and very delicious! We enjoy garlic powder and sea salt for a subtle flavor. Recipe:

2 cups (oat or rice) flour

3 1/2 - 4 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 cup olive or grapeseed oil

3/4 cup rice milk

Directions:

Mix all ingredients well until a ball of dough forms. Gently flatten on greased cookie sheet with rolling pin, until 1/2 in to 3/4 in flat. With a sharp knife, mark squares across dough by marking vertical and horizontal lines in the rolled out dough. Sprinkle with herbs, spices and/or salt.

Bake at 450˚ for about 10 minutes until golden. If desired, may leave in oven to dry once turned off.

Break apart, cool completely and store in semi-sealed container away from moisture. Enjoy!
