Lands' End has always been perceived as a high-quality line, and although at times that seems debatable, their customer service makes up for that. As for quality in fabrics, they do seem to live up to their reputation. My only problem is the cut of the clothing. Forget about the dowdy, granny cut (a.k.a Fit 1); they're shirts are pretty boxy, and not in a good way, and their skirts are sort of frumpy. But that's not why I'm writing about them. Happily, they have a new line called Canvas, that is quite impressive. It reminds me of Madewell and J Crew, etc. Slightly European, feminine, flattering and detailed construction.
